 He was born in England and start 2nd survey from England on 1 June 1910 for arrive the Antarctic South Pole, even failed to survey on 1904. And Robert Amundsen (Norway) had start late 2 months. But Amundsen arrived South Pole on 14 December 1911, than Scott arrived on 18 Jan.1912. He died at 18km near the Base Camp for return on 29 March 1912.
