Architect by Graham McCourt Architects, structure by Jan Bobrowski & Partners Ltd. Completion date was Nov.1983, area 44,000. Designed to house the 1988 Winter Olympics. The complex has an initial seating capacity of 17,600 with expansion available to 19,800.

View northwest from Olympic Plaza and former firehall in Calgary on 6th Avenue Southwest and 1st Street Southeast. Architect by The Webb Zerafa Menkes Housden Partnership, structure by Quinn Dressel & Jokinen Consulting Engineers on 1984. Consists of a two tower complex of 35 and 55 storeys. The office towers are sited on a 45 degree axis positioned to avoid any over-lap or over-view between the wo office facades.
